Amazon Web Services acquired DuckLabs, the company behind open-source DuckDB. Financial terms were not disclosed. DuckDB and related projects remain free and open source under MIT licenses, with the DuckDB Foundation continuing to guide them. The in-process OLAP database is written in C++.
