CATL and Octopus Launch Swaptopus Truck Swapping

CATL and Octopus Energy formed Swaptopus, a joint venture to build automated battery-swapping hubs for heavy trucks across Europe. The first UK hubs are planned for 2027, with over 30 sites across Europe by 2035. The venture claims the network could support more than 300,000 trucks and attract over £30 billion in private investment.
