Henrik Forstén upgraded his synthetic-aperture radar drone with an autofocus algorithm and interferometric imaging. The original GPS had one-meter resolution; RTK or PPK positioning now reaches a couple centimeters. A compression algorithm speeds SD card recording. Flying the same path twice at different altitudes lets phase comparison produce elevation maps, fixing tall objects that previously appeared to lean toward the radar.
