How data centers in space could become a reality

Space-based data centers are becoming increasingly feasible, with startups Starcloud and Cowboy Space Corp. alongside SpaceX and Google pursuing the concept. SpaceX filed an FCC application to launch a million satellites and plans a test of its orbital data center. The push follows growing protests against earthbound data centers.
