Cosine rallies UK giants to build sovereign AI model

Cosine, a UK AI lab, assembled BT, HSBC, BAE Systems, and others to co-design Lumen Sovereign, Britain's first sovereign frontier AI model. The model will train on the Isambard-AI supercomputer with government compute, carrying no foreign infrastructure dependence. It can deploy in air-gapped environments for security-sensitive clients.
