Volkswagen launches robotaxi service in Hamburg

Volkswagen's Moia launched a pilot autonomous ride-pooling service in Hamburg using ID Buzz vans with Mobileye technology. Up to five vehicles operate with safety monitors, offering free rides to preregistered residents. The service covers four square miles and plans to expand. Moia also targets US launches with Uber in Los Angeles and Beep in Orlando this year.
