Audi Recalls 9,048 US EVs Over Battery Risk

Audi initiates a voluntary safety recall for 9,048 electric vehicles in the US due to battery cells from Hungary that may cause fires. The recall covers 7,040 Q4 e-tron and 2,008 Q4 Sportback e-tron units from 2024 and 2025 model years. Owners must charge batteries to no more than 80% until repairs are available.
