Ambiance is a harness that frees LLMs from the chat pane by using an event bus called the Kernel. It watches a faux-VFS for file changes and invokes the LLM accordingly. The harness reduces cognitive load by leveraging the LLM's existing knowledge of Linux filesystems and plaintext.
