Ford Recalls 548,463 Expeditions Over Console Hazard

Ford is recalling 548,463 Expedition SUVs from 2018, 2024 because chrome trim on the center console can peel, leaving sharp edges. An estimated 12.8 percent of vehicles are affected. Dealers will inspect and replace consoles with bubbling or peeling chrome. Ford knows of 65 injuries and one accident potentially linked to the defect.
