Mironid raises £34m for kidney disease drug

Glasgow-based Mironid raised $46m (£34m) in Series B funding for its small molecule therapeutics targeting Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD). The company's LoAc molecules are the only drug class directly targeting cyclic AMP (cAMP), active in all stages of the disease. Preclinical data shows efficacy and a favourable safety profile.
