The UK government launched a £1.1bn AI Hardware Plan, announced by Technology Secretary Liz Kendall at London Tech Week. The plan includes £750m for a national AI supercomputer, expected to be among the most advanced in the world at deployment, to support Britain's semiconductor sector for AI scaling.
