Cinnamon 6.8 adds Wayland support

Linux Mint lead developer Clement Lefebvre announced that Cinnamon 6.8 will officially support Wayland, dropping its experimental status. X11 remains available as an option. The update is planned for the next Linux Mint release, scheduled for Christmas.
