Xbox outage blocked disc game access for 20 hours

An Xbox outage on Monday lasting around 20 hours prevented players from accessing disc-based games due to a licensing check failure. Xbox technology chief Scott Van Vliet called the issue unacceptable and said a fix will roll out in an upcoming update.
