Alibaba Unveils Zhenwu V900 AI Chip

Alibaba announced the Zhenwu V900 AI accelerator at Apsara Conference 2026, claiming it is China's most powerful AI chip with three times the performance of the M890. It packs 216GB of memory and 1,200GB/s inter-chip bandwidth, scaling to 500,000-card supernodes. Mass production is set for Q1 2027, moved up from a May roadmap's Q3 2027.
