CATL resumed operations at its Jiangxi lithium mine on June 29 after an almost year-long shutdown. The Jianxiawo deposit is one of the world's largest lepidolite reserves. The mine and its refinery produce around 100,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate annually. Chinese authorities had refused to renew CATL's mining licence after it expired in August 2025.
