Cisco has warned of a critical vulnerability, CVE-2026-76461, in its AsyncOS Software for Secure Email Gateway that is being actively exploited. The flaw, with a CVSS score of 9.8, allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges by sending a crafted email with malicious SQL statements. It affects both physical and virtual devices.
