Perovskite solar cells offer cost, efficiency, and supply chain advantages over silicon. Researchers at HZB in Germany combined graphene with perovskite in a triple-junction cell. Startups like Tandem PV, Swift Solar, Solx, Caelux, Sofab Inks, and Power Roll are advancing commercial production. Power Roll partnered with Tokyo Gas for its first trial outside Europe.
