The AI model Claude Fable 5.1 solved the Cyphral Distich, a 370-year-old unsolved cipher by Sir Thomas Urquhart. The model identified the key was the book itself, using word indices from Urquhart's 32 Proquiritations to decode the hidden message. It also deciphered a second, larger cipher, the Cyphral Octastich, from the same author.
