The AI model Claude Fable 5.1 solved the Cyphral Distich, a 370-year-old unsolved cipher by Sir Thomas Urquhart. The cryptogram, consisting of 64 numbers, was solved in 44 minutes. The key was the book itself, using the 32 Proquiritations as a word index. The model also deciphered the larger Cyphral Octastich from 1652.
