CATL chief says solid-state batteries at level 4 of 9

CATL founder Robin Zeng Yuqun said solid-state battery technology has reached only level four on a nine-step readiness scale. He predicted mass production will not begin until 2030 and questioned commercial viability. CATL controls roughly 40% of the global EV battery market.
