Anthropic spins a Fable of a tamer, safer Mythos

Anthropic made Claude Fable 5 publicly available and Claude Mythos 5 available to Glasswing partners, both Mythos-class models. Fable 5 includes new classifiers and fails over to Opus 4.8 for sensitive queries. Anthropic retains prompt and output data for 30 days for trust and safety purposes.
