Nvidia will invest $3.5bn in Taiwanese chipmaker MediaTek, which will adopt Nvidia's NVLink Fusion and NVHBM tech. The deal, reportedly Nvidia's largest direct investment outside the US, aims to build AI computing platforms around Nvidia's hardware and standards.
