LFP Battery Safety Tested in BMS Failure

Will Prowse tested commercial LFP batteries under a UL 2054 short-circuit condition simulating a BMS failure. Two batteries passed by blowing their fuses. A LiTime battery claiming UL 2054 certification lacked a fuse and failed. A Battle Born battery caught fire, with its thermal safety failing to interrupt current.
