France orders Polymarket blocked over illegal gambling promotion

France's National Gaming Authority ordered internet service providers to block Polymarket, ruling the crypto prediction market illegally promoted gambling. The July 16 order targets all sites operated by ADVENTURE ONE QSS INC. The regulator tracked Polymarket since November 2024 and said its financial geoblocking was circumvented. An active Paris prosecutor investigation examines manipulated weather bets.
