Booking.com chief business officer James Waters said at HumanX in Amsterdam on Wednesday that the company built AI orchestration tools it now wishes it had bought off the shelf, because frontier model makers later shipped the same capabilities. He said Booking.com would now buy those tools and focus on customer problems and proprietary data.
