First fully electric BMW iX5 features massive 141 kWh battery

BMW is finalizing the fully electric iX5, the first X5 with an EV version. It packs a 141 kWh net battery in the EU, the largest ever in a BMW EV, and uses an 800-volt system. The iX5 60 xDrive produces 425 kW and weighs around 2,950 kg.
