Binance bought $100 million of Circle Class A shares, 1.24 million at $80.84 each, in a private placement that closed Sept. 17. The five-year deal has Circle paying Binance monthly incentives tied to USDC balances while Binance promotes the stablecoin, which has about $75 billion in circulation versus Tether's $183 billion.
