Berlin startup Restate raised a $20 million Series A led by Singular, with Redpoint Ventures and Capital One Ventures, bringing total funding to $27 million. Restate sells durable execution software that keeps AI agents and backend programs running through crashes and dropped connections. Replit moved its Replit Agent onto Restate, which now handles all durable orchestration there. The company will hire go-to-market staff and engineers and open a San Francisco hub.
