Edtech Push Tied to Plunging U.S. Test Scores

U.S. reading and math scores have declined since 2014, coinciding with the widespread adoption of classroom computers and tablets. Neuroscientist Jared Cooney Horvath testified that a $30 billion investment in educational technology has weakened learning environments, correlating increased screen time with worse performance on international assessments.
