Tesla Optimus Output Hits Hundreds Weekly

Tesla now builds several hundred Optimus humanoid robots weekly at Fremont, up from a few dozen in Q2, targeting over 1,000 by year-end. Most units stay internal for testing because the AI cannot generalize and hands remain fragile, with over 100 hand-assembled parts per arm. Tesla plans to lease, not sell, to select customers.
