17 fusion startups top $100M each, total hits $13B

Private fusion funding has crossed $13 billion, with 17 startups raising over $100 million each. Helion Energy closed a $465 million round and Focused Energy a $240 million Series A in June 2026. Commonwealth Fusion Systems leads with roughly $3 billion total and its SPARC reactor about 75% complete.
