Alphabet and Tesla shares fell in premarket trading Thursday after both companies signaled higher AI spending. Alphabet shares dropped 4%, Tesla fell over 5%. Alphabet raised its 2025 capex forecast to $195-$205 billion. Tesla reported $5.79 billion in Q2 capex, up 142% year-on-year, and expects over $25 billion.
