Anthropic Launches Claude for Government

Anthropic launched Claude for Government for US federal and state civilian agencies, running in a FedRAMP High environment after an open beta since July. Agencies pay per use with fixed caps and department budgets, and chats stay on agency devices with audit logs. Claude for Microsoft 365 also enters early access, integrating with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
