Island Raises $400M at $6.4B Valuation

Dallas-based browser security startup Island raised $400 million at a $6.4 billion valuation on Thursday, led by Evolution Equity Partners. The company plans to expand into Europe, Asia and the Middle East and grow its workforce from 1,000 to 1,500 by mid-next year. Customers include Pfizer, Chipotle and American Airlines.
