Ontario's Superior Court certified a class action against Intuit Canada ULC and Intuit Inc. over TurboTax's "free" advertising. The lawsuit, covering purchases since Jan. 1, 2015, alleges bait-and-switch pricing. Justice Leiper ruled July 24, allowing claims under Ontario consumer laws and the Competition Act.
