Fable 5 ban triggered by 'fix this code' prompt

A three-word prompt, "Fix this code," triggered the US government export ban on Anthropic's Fable 5 and Mythos 5 models, not a jailbreak. Researcher Katie Moussouris, the only outside expert to read the third-party paper, said the prompt led models to patch vulnerable code. Anthropic disabled both models for all customers to comply.
