VMware vCenter RCE flaw exploited for reverse SSH

A critical VMware vCenter Syslog Server vulnerability (CVE-2026-59310) is actively exploited to deploy reverse_ssh for persistence. Broadcom disclosed the flaw July 29; 361 IPs across 47 countries are compromised. QUIRSO identified the campaign, which began August 3. Patches include vCenter 8.0 U3k or 8.0 U2f.
