Google to End ChromeOS Updates in 2034

Google will stop updating ChromeOS in mid-2034, per a support page updated 23 September. Newer Chromebooks can migrate to Googlebook OS, built on Android, but Google has not said which models qualify. Googlebook pre-orders opened 21 September from $899, shipping 4 October, initially without enterprise fleet management.
