Six Samsung companies will invest $1bn in Helix Digital Infrastructure, a KKR-backed AI data center firm launched in June. Samsung Electronics contributes $500m; affiliates including Samsung C&T, SDS, SDI, Life and Fire & Marine supply construction, chips, cooling and batteries. Helix, led by ex-AWS chief Adam Selipsky, aims to be a one-stop shop for hyperscalers.
