AppLovin asked a California court to temporarily block Unity from collecting data from AppLovin-served ads, alleging Unity's Ad Quality SDK fed that data into models competing against it. AppLovin also filed a JAMS arbitration claiming trade-secret misappropriation. Unity disputes the claims, citing AppLovin's own Ad Review tool. A hearing is set for Sept. 29.
