US authorities disrupted the Sality botnet with Bulgarian, Hungarian, Romanian officials, CrowdStrike, and Shadowserver Foundation. Sality's EggJagger tool stole about $150,000 in crypto over eight years by replacing wallet addresses. About 15,000 infected computers formed the peer-to-peer botnet.
