Meta has agreed to report child sexual abuse cases to Indian law enforcement agencies. This follows meetings between Indian government officials and Meta executives, including India head Arun Srinivas, who appeared before the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) last week. The NCPCR launched an inquiry after a BBC report alleged Instagram ads for child abuse material were live in India.
