India Raises Gold Hallmarking Fee to Rs 75

The Bureau of Indian Standards has increased the hallmarking fee for gold articles from Rs 45 to Rs 75 per item, effective September 14, 2026. The fee for silver articles remains unchanged at Rs 35 per item.
