Army Microgrid Captures Battlefield Energy

Chariot Defense won a $7.6 million DIU contract to deploy its Amphora microgrid to the US Army this fall under the PRISM program. The storage-enabled system captures energy from generators, idling vehicles, wall sockets, or the environment, reducing reliance on diesel generators. Andreessen Horowitz led a $34 million Series A round.
