Microsoft announced the first Go-based release candidate for TypeScript 7.0, two years after creator Anders Hejlsberg revealed plans for the rewrite. TypeScript 7.0 runs about 10 times faster than TypeScript 6.0 due to native code speed and shared memory parallelism, performing parsing, type checking, and emitting in parallel.
