Hormuz Vessel Strike, Houthi Port Seizure Escalate Tensions

In a separate escalation, Yemen's Houthi rebels seized the Red Sea port of Mokha, tightening control of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. The group also struck a Saudi military base. Iran and Oman agreed on new Hormuz transit routes, while BRICS nations called for maximum restraint.
