Austria EV registrations near petrol parity

Austria reported 40,060 new battery-electric cars in the first half of the year, a 27 percent increase year-on-year. The electric share reached 24.3 percent of all new passenger car registrations, just behind petrol cars at 24.6 percent. In June, battery-electric cars hit a 26.3 percent monthly share for the first time.
