Meta Announces New VR Glasses and Smart Glasses

Meta unveiled lightweight VR Glasses and camera-free Ray-Ban Meta Audio smart glasses at its annual Meta Connect event on Wednesday. The VR Glasses weigh 100g, launch in spring 2027 for $1,299, and offer full VR in a glasses form factor with tethered compute. The audio-only glasses weigh 43g, launch October 13th at $349, and provide up to 12 hours of battery life. Both products expand Meta's wearable lineup with new AI features and regional availability.
