Nashville votes to block data center near zoo

Nashville's Metro Council voted 27 to 5 to authorize acquiring a 23.49-acre site next to the Nashville Zoo by negotiation or condemnation, blocking DC BLOX's $700 million data center. The vote grants an option, not a commitment, pending appraisal and court approval.
