upGrad Acquires Unacademy for Over $200M

upGrad completed its acquisition of Unacademy for over $200 million, after months of negotiations. The final deal value is more than 90% lower than Unacademy's peak valuation of $3.4 billion in 2021, reflecting changed investor expectations for consumer edtech.
